Production Agriculture
Whether you want to earn a quick certification or solidify your education in agriculture,
our Production Agriculture program offers many alternatives to meet your educational
and career needs.
Technical Division Expert's Corner
The agricultural industry is a mainstay in southwest Kansas. Whether you're looking to enter the field for the first time or build upon previous experience in the industry, our program has plenty of options for you.
Students can earn either an Associate in Science (AS) or Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Ag Production and learn more about ag economics, farm management, futures marketing and hedging, soils, crops, and more. Students who earn an AS can transfer to a four-year university to further their ag education. We also offer three short-term agriculture certificates that can be earned in one or two semesters and which allow you to get hands-on training and join the workforce quickly.
