Technical Education Division
Technical education at Garden City Community College is hands on, skills based, and
career focused. Our tech-ed programs will give you the specific tools and distinct
knowledge you need under the guidance of expert faculty.
Within this division, you can study John Deere Ag Tech, Production Agriculture, Animal Science, Food Science, Automotive Technology, Computer Support Specialist, Construction Technology, Cosmetology, Criminal Justice, Emergency Medical Services, The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Program, Fire Science, or Welding.
Organizations in both the public and private sectors are looking for individuals with technical skills in agriculture, public safety, and the welding, auto, and beauty industries. Our graduates are armed and ready to enter the workforce, setting themselves up for a successful career.
Most of our tech-ed programs are located in the John Collins Vocational Building,
where you will also find your instructors and support staff offices for these programs.
