Our Mission
The Office of Institutional Effectiveness & Accountability (IEA) facilitates the integration of assessment, planning, and research to ensure the institution is meeting its stated mission and strategic goals. The Office promotes a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement through the facilitation of assessment, accreditation, accountability and strategic planning functions.
Our Purpose
IEA provides leadership, guidance and support for the institutions continuous planning, assessment and evaluation efforts. IEA facilitates guidance of the colleges strategic planning process, facilitates the assessment process, and houses the colleges institutional research functions which provide data and analysis for decision-making throughout the College. The department also is charged with coordinating College reporting to governmental agencies and external constituents and assisting with monitoring institutional compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.
This is carried out through several functions: accreditation, planning, assessment, institutional research, surveys, and monitoring of accountability/compliance. The department also houses the college's Institutional Review Board and oversees Grant Opportunities.
