If you're interested in sociology, it means you're interested in how human society develops, how it is structured, and how it functions. Understanding human social relationships and institutions can have many applications in the working world: social work, management, media, law, human resources, and much more.

Class Sizes

You will join up to 24 students in each class. Sociology is a general education requirement for many students at Garden City Community College, and so you will meet students from across the curriculum who come from different backgrounds and have different viewpoints. Diverse points of view contribute to the learning environment!
