Helping hands

Our Program

Social workers help people solve and manage their everyday problems. They work in a variety of settings: mental health clinics, child welfare and human service agencies, hospitals, non-profit agencies, and more. Our Associate in Science in Social Work will help social work majors, like you, with the cultural competence to practice with diverse and at-risk communities both within southwest Kansas and outside our state.

Class Size & Advisement

Your advising will come directly from the faculty at GCCC. They can assist you with finding coursework that meets your educational and career goals. And with our small class sizes of up to 24 students, you can be certain that you are getting individualized attention both in and out of the classroom.
