Discover a truly unique learning experience at the Cadaver Lab at Garden City Community College (GCCC). One of only three cadaver labs at Kansas community colleges, this facility has been a cornerstone of anatomy education since the late 1980s. Each semester, over 300 high school students participate in guided tours led by the cadaver team, providing a unique opportunity to explore the complexities of the human body alongside college students and faculty.

A One-of-a-Kind Opportunity

The Cadaver Lab is made possible through the generosity of the Willed Body Program at the University of Kansas Medical Center. This resource supports GCCC Anatomy and Physiology students by providing a hands-on, tactile learning environment. Unlike models or simulations, the Cadaver Lab allows students and visitors to see and touch actual human tissue, gaining insights into anatomical distinctions and spatial relationships.
