"Kruise In & Pit Stop" on Oct. 12

[Garden City, KS, Oct. 2, 2019--] The Kansas Kruisers and Garden City Community College Automotive Technology program are partnering to bring a "Kruise In & Pit Stop" event to Garden City on Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019, from 5 to 7 p.m. This come-and-go event will take place at the Saffell Library parking lot on the GCCC campus. The GCCC Mobile Lab will also be available for an open house during the event; attendees can tour the lab and get questions answered regarding the use of the lab for meetings space and other events.

The Kansas Kruisers is "a car club for all enthusiasts,” according to their website. The club membership will "kruise in" with their selection of cars and other motorized vehicles to campus on the evening of the 12th, parking in the library parking lot. Cars will be on display until 7 p.m. During the event, GCCC auto tech students will teach new and experienced drivers how to check fluids, gauge tire pressure, and monitor other important vehicle diagnostics at the Pit Stop. Visitors are encouraged to discover what the GCCC auto tech program has to offer for both the community and students during the event.
