Pink Week to Raise Proceeds for Cancer on Oct. 27 & 30
[Garden City, KS] October 21, 2021 -- The GCCC Athletic Department will host two Pink Nights during Pink Week to raise proceeds for the Heartland Cancer Center.
Wednesday, October 27th
The GCCC Volleyball game vs Dodge City beginning at 6:30 pm will be the first Pink Night. Before the game, Pink Night t-shirts will be for sale in front of the DPAC building for $15. Purchase a t-shirt and get into the game for free. There will also be a bake sale and a 50/50 raffle held. Cancer Fighters & Survivors will be recognized pre-game.
Saturday, October 30th
The last GCCC home Football game vs. Butler beginning at 1 pm will be the second Pink Night. Fans are encouraged to wear pink and participate in the 50/50 raffle. Cancer Fighters & Survivors will be honored with their support system on the field at half-time (must email sarah.dains@gcccks.edu to participate).
All proceeds from each night will go to the Heartland Cancer Center.
