GCCC Receives Donation from KCB Bank
[Garden City, KS] October 17, 2022 -- Garden City Community College received an $85,000 donation from KCB Bank in the form of a tax credit on October 13, 2022. GCCC is selling Kansas Department of Revenue tax credits to be used for the ongoing STEM Success Center project, a 10,000 square feet addition to the Warren Fouse Science and Math building for learning space dedicated to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
With locations in Garden City and Lakin, KCB Bank is dedicated to giving back to the communities in the Southwest Kansas area. KCB has been a supporter of GCCC for decades, from their membership to the Broncbuster Athletic Association, helping to make the new video scoreboard possible, to sponsoring and attending a variety of student activities.
