GCCC Endowment Association to Host 47th Annual Scholarship Auction April 12th

[Garden City, KS] March 5, 2025 -- The GCCC Endowment Association will host its 47th Annual Scholarship Auction on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Finney County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5:00 PM, and the event officially begins at 6:00 PM. Presented by Commerce Bank, this year’s theme, “An Evening of Stars: Illuminating Futures,” celebrates the bright students of Garden City Community College and the life-changing impact of scholarships.

The evening will feature a live and silent auction, along with a cash raffle. Up for auction this year are trips to Cancun and Nashville, an African safari hunt, concert tickets to Jelly Roll and Post Malone, meet-and-greet tickets to Larry the Cable Guy, and so much more. 

Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner catered by John Ross & Co., included with the $50 Admission Wristband (per person). The dinner menu includes a Tri-Tip Carving Station, Cheesy Spuds, Green Beans with Butter, Bacon, and Onion, Garden Vegetable Salad with Homemade Buttermilk Peppered Ranch, and Dinner Rolls with Honey Butter.

New this year! In addition to the auction and meal wristband, guests can enhance their experience by upgrading to a Drink Ticket for just $20 per person. This upgrade includes unlimited adult beverages throughout the evening. Don’t miss out on this exclusive addition to the event!

Reserved tables for eight guests are available for $500, making them a great option for groups or businesses. Each table package includes eight admission wristbands and eight drink tickets.

Wristbands and tickets can be purchased at www.gcccendowment.com, the GCCC Endowment Office, or from Endowment Board members. Guests must be 21 or older to attend. Evening Chic attire is recommended for this unforgettable event.

All wristbands and tickets must be picked up prior to the event at the GCCC Endowment Association Office (Second Floor, Student & Community Services Center, 801 Campus Drive, Garden City). Office hours are Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
