GCCC Endowment Association Announces New Executive Director Jeff Mitchell
[Garden City, KS] October 19, 2022 -- GCCC Endowment Association announced Jeff Mitchell as the new Executive Director.
Mitchell is a lifelong Garden City resident and an alum of Garden City Community College. 
After attending GCCC and studying music, he received his bachelor's degree in interdisciplinary studies from Liberty University with a dual emphasis in music and religion. Before joining the Endowment Association, Mitchell spent the last 18 years working in churches in western Kansas and northeast Nebraska.
"I am looking forward to serving the Endowment Association as Executive Director and working with the college by providing resources for the advancement of its mission," said Jeff Mitchell. "I'm excited about the opportunity to see the Endowment Association and GCCC grow as we work together for the economic and social well-being of our community and the surrounding area."
Mitchell and his wife Jenny have been married for 21 years and have eight children ranging from 21 to 2 years old. They enjoy camping whenever they have the opportunity, in between their children's many activities, including theater, dance, music, and sports. Their eldest son is a current GCCC student and Quiz Bowl team member.
