BUSTERCON 2024: Comic Convention
The Garden City Community College Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee invites the public to the first-ever BUSTERCON, a comic convention, on Saturday, February 24, 2024, from 10 AM – 5 PM on the GCCC Campus.
This event will showcase informative booths and merchandise for purchase from accomplished authors, artists, vendors, comics, and cosplay enthusiasts. A costume contest will also be held, with prizes awarded. All ages are welcome to enjoy this day of fun inside the back gym of the Dennis Perryman Athletic Complex. Free admission!
The costume contest is a fun way to express yourself and dress up. However, participants whose costumes include fake elements such as swords, knives, or firearms must have those items screened for safety and clearly marked by security at check-in. Any items deemed too realistic or posing a potential safety hazard will not be permitted inside the event.
