Alumni Welding Competition
The Garden City Community College Welding Program will host a Welding Competition exclusively for GCCC Welding alumni on Friday, May 2, 2025, at the GCCC Welding Shop, located at 1802 Spruce St., Garden City. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m.
Alumni will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in a field job site weld test, competing for bragging rights among fellow graduates. Rig trucks are welcome, and participants are encouraged to bring their own welding helmets and safety gear. Layout tools will be provided on-site.
