Tuition & Fee Refund Policy
Students may be eligible for refunds after submitting a Change of Schedule form to the Registrar’s Office within the applicable refund period.
Refunds are based on the date the official drop or withdrawal is processed in Self-Service or submitted to the Registrar’s Office—not the last date a student attended class.
Failure to attend or stopping attendance does not constitute an official drop or withdrawal.
Refund Information
- If GCCC cancels a class, enrolled students receive a full refund of tuition and fees for that class.
- If a student withdraws after the refund period and adds another class, no refund will be issued for the dropped class. Full tuition and fees will apply to the added class.
- Students called to active military duty will receive a full tuition refund. Fees are not refundable if the activation date occurs after the published refund deadline.
- Students receiving Federal Financial Aid who completely withdraw from GCCC are subject to a Return of Title IV fund calculation.
