On behalf of the faculty, staff and administration, it gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Garden City Community College. With students being our focus, GCCC provides our diverse southwest Kansas communities and region with an excellent educational experience that fosters social responsibility and prepares students for personal and academic success. Established in 1919, Garden City Community College has a rich tradition providing students, local community, region and state with high quality, affordable higher education and workforce training.

Garden City Community College is accredited through the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The Higher Learning Commission is a regional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). GCCC delivers college credit instruction, certificates and degrees through HLC, and the accreditation requires the college to show the quality of programs, fiscal responsibility and sustainability.
