The Medical Assistant program at Garden City Community College prepares students to
become versatile members of the healthcare team by developing both clinical and administrative
skills needed in a variety of medical settings.

The program builds key skills in phlebotomy, EKG testing, vital sign measurement,
medication administration, electronic health records (EHR), medical office procedures,
