Policy Statement:

The physical network media and the attached computers and software are owned or controlled by Garden City Community College. Garden City Community College computing resources includes the campus network and the residence halls which utilize the campus network.  Use of college resources for personal use is strictly prohibited. 

There should be no expectation of privacy by the user of any technology on the college campus, on technology owned by the college or in the course of conducting college business

Procedures: 

The personal use of GCCC computers and storage is prohibited.

GCCC Information of Technology Department has the right to remove any personal documents or files stored on GCCC computing equipment.  This includes personal pictures, videos, personal documents or any other files that are not directly related to the performance of the employee’s job duties.
