Policy Statement:

The President shall establish an annual calendar for the College with recommendations from a calendar committee.

Procedures:

In accordance with state statute, GC3 Educators negotiate the number of work days in the faculty contract. Faculty should refer to the Negotiated Agreement for existing language regarding academic year contract.

Faculty are represented on the calendar committee by the current Faculty Senate President and Faculty Senate Vice President or their designees.
